Model Cities is proud to offer the community an array of classes and workshops for financial literacy and financial wellness. Our Financial Coaches provide insights into a variety of topics from the basics like creating a budget to advanced topics like pre-purchase counseling and risk management.
The Fiscally Fit workshops began with the Camphor United Methodist Church more than a decade ago as the Camphor Fiscally Fit Center (CFFC). Over the years, the CFFC helped hundreds of people improve their credit scores, buy homes, start businesses, and master the key money management skills that lead to a lifetime of financial success.
In 2018, the CFFC moved to Model Cities to continue the mission of serving the community with financial education and awareness programs. Model Cities is proud to continue to host a series of workshops to allow the community to learn the essential skills for financial management. This contributes to a more stable and equitable community, an objective at the core of both Camphor United and Model Cities of St. Paul.
