March 20 – Update – Model Cities COVID-19 Response

Dear Friends and Supporters:

For the health and safety of the public and our staff during the evolving crisis surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19), Model Cities is closing its main office effective Friday, March 20th at 2 pm and through Friday, April 3^rd or until further notice. We will use this time to further develop and update strategies that support our agency’s COVID-19 Action Plan.

Model Cities’ staff will work remotely, with the exception of essential personnel and other staff at our housing sites. Our main office building located at 839 University Avenue will be closed to the public.

The Safe Space Shelter emergency shelter will remain open until further notice.

We will continue to monitor the latest news regarding the COVID-19 and respond as needed. Any additional changes made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic will be communicated through e-news alerts, our website and social media platforms.
