ROOF PROJECT
The ROOF Project provides scattered site housing and supportive services to homeless young parents (ages 17-25) and their children who reside in Ramsey County. In partnership with the Amherst Wilder Foundation, ROOF Project helps homeless families secure transitional housing (up to two years) while they achieve parenting, education, employment, life skills and other personal goals. These services help families to lead healthy, productive, and self-sufficient lives.
Eligibility requirements for families include homeless status (families who are living on the streets or in an emergency shelter), Ramsey County residency proof, and families who have at least one child in their custody. This verification and documentation is required before an intake can be granted.
One, two, three and four bedroom apartments are available through the program contingent on current occupancy. Residents must adhere to a sober-free lifestyle and meet on a weekly basis with a case manager. Please contact the ROOF Project Case Manager at 651-632-8350 for more information.
